About Igniting Possibilities Initiative
The Igniting Possibilities initiative supports and empowers vulnerable and disadvantaged families, particularly African immigrant families from poor backgrounds in Openshaw, Gorton, and surroundings who experience poverty and social exclusion. Our goal is to equip and empower these families with the necessary tools to improve their lives. To achieve this aim, we offer a range of services that focus on alleviating poverty through culturally centred programs, such as mentoring services, educational support, parental guidance, and IT training for older parents. Together, we strive to create a brighter future for families by providing the resources and support needed to thrive in their community.
